Features of SS 321 Fasteners:
These stainless steel fasteners, also called UNS S32109 fasteners, are widely used in home applications such as manufacturing applications. These fasteners are made from first-class raw materials, which have found their application in many commercial and industrial purposes.
It is one of the favorite grades of stainless steel, which consists of titanium in solid form. It also has excellent resistance to pitting, pitting, crevice, and intergranular corrosion in chloride solutions.
This SS 321 is a high carbon version of the SS321 alloy, which improves strength and creep properties even in higher temperature environments. Other features that make this austenitic stainless steel unique are its excellent surface finish, high strength, ductility, solid character, and longer service life.
Short carbon grades, such as the SS 321 Fasteners, have short carbon to reduce the chromium content as a whole throughout the structure. These fasteners have the same corrosion behavior as other classes, except for improved intergranular corrosion resistance due to the addition of titanium for stabilization. Our 321 hex head nuts are non-magnetic in nature, even in the annealed conditions. Therefore, it can only be cured by a cold forming process. These 321 H square bolts are able to withstand corrosion cracking by polythionic acid in hydrocarbon operation.
