Cancer A Dangerous Disease

Cancer is the disease of cells that cannot be controlled, thus spreading into body parts. It is a bulk group of diseases that badly infect our body by deteriorating our condition. When cells in the body get older, other newborn cells get generated. Cells get multiplied in a body by the process of cell division but when the rate of cell division go out of control, it causes cancer. These abnormal cancerous cells flow through the blood to different parts of the body. A benign tumor does not grow back in the body because it can be cured by removing it, but a cancerous tumor is dangerous since it can grow back. A brain tumor is the most horrible type of cancer since there are fewer chances for survival. Cancer also takes place due to genetics.

Development of Cancer in the Human Body

In the human body, cancer is due to changes in genes, and it is a genetic disease. Cancer is caused for the following reasons:

  1. Many abnormal cells
  2. Damage of DNA due to harmful chemicals or substances like smoking cigarettes or by working in any harmful factories
  3. Inherited from our parents

Our body fights with the infected cells, but as time flies away, it becomes difficult to fight, so it finally leads to cancer. That is the main reason for having cancer at a later age. Whenever cancer starts to grow, it will show some symptoms in the human body.

Cancer Spread

Cancer that spreads from one body part to another is called metastatic cancer. Metastatic cancer behaves like common cancer since they have the same presence of chromosomes. It is crucial to detect the type of cancer on time. Metastatic cancer is dangerous and may lead to death. It usually occurs in breast cancer and spreads the infection to the other parts of the body, so it is necessary to treat the person on time. The primary goal is to control the spreading of cancer and its growth.

Various Types of Cancer

There are around 100 types of cancer. Some of them are listed below.

1. Carcinoma

It is the most commonly seen cancer. It is caused in the epithelial cells covering the inner and outer body surfaces. Carcinomas have different names per the various epithelial cells like:

  • Adenocarcinoma is a type of cancer that produces mucus or fluid. It is mostly cancer of the prostate, colon, and breast. Tissues with epithelial cells are also known as glandular tissues.
  • Basal cell carcinoma begins in an outer layer of the person’s body. It initiates from the basal epidermis layers.
  • Squamous cell carcinoma cancer occurs in squamous cells. It takes place in body parts like the lungs, intestines, bladder, stomach, and kidneys. It looks like flatfish when observed through a microscope. It is also known as epidermoid carcinomas.
  • Transitional cell carcinoma is cancer that causes urothelium or epithelium. It covers the bladder lining, ureter, and some parts of the kidneys.

2. Sarcoma

These are generally found in soft tissues and bone, including fat, lymph vessel muscle, lymph vessels, fibrous tissues, and blood vessels. Osteosarcoma is a common type of bone cancer, and leiomyosarcoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma, Kaposi sarcoma, and liposarcoma are soft tissue sarcoma.

3. Leukemia

Cancers that form in the blood marrow are called leukemia. This cancer does not cause tumors, but it causes the production of more white blood cells. These white blood cells increase in the blood. This leukemia cancer leads to loss of oxygen in body tissues, inability to stop bleeding, or handling different infections. There are four different types of leukemia which depend on how easily they spread in the body. An acute form of leukemia grows faster, and a chronic form grows slower.

4. Multiple Myeloma

It starts by affecting the plasma cells. The abnormal plasma cells cause tumors in bones, and this leads to cancer.

5. Melanoma

It is a type of cancer that forms on the skin. Also, forms in the eye, which has pigmented tissues. It gives color to the skin.

6. Germ Cell Tumors

These occur in the cells and give rise to sperms and eggs. This tumor can occur in any part of the body and leads to cancer.

7. Neuroendocrine Tumors

These are the type of tumors which occur from hormone-releasing cells into the blood by taking the signals sent by our nervous system. A high rise of hormones may lead to various symptoms.

8. Carcinoid Tumors

These are slow-developing tumors that grow in our gastrointestinal system. It is an infectious tumor and can adversely affect the liver and other parts of the body. They also secrete various substances like prostaglandins or serotonin, which causes carcinoid syndrome.

Signs of Cancer

Cancer has various signs that we have to note on time to take prescriptions before it becomes incurable because cancer can be cured if we receive treatment promptly. Some signs are as follows:

  1. Weight loss
  2. Fatigue
  3. Nausea and vomiting
  4. Blood in urine and stool
  5. Appetite loss
  6. Sweating at night
  7. Chronic cough
  8. Sudden fever
  9. Growth of marks on the skin
  10. Sudden pain in the body
  11. Sores that don’t heal
  12. Skin ulcers that don’t heal

Treatments for Cancer

Innovative cancer research has occurred, and new technologies and medication have been developed. Treatment is based on the cancer stage and the person’s physical health. Some cancer treatments are as follows:

Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy helps to kill cancer cells with medications and helps to prevent the uncontrolled division of cells. Some of the drugs also shrink the tumor but have severe side effects.

Hormone therapy

Hormone therapy also requires medication due to hormonal changes in the body. This therapy is conducted for prostate and breast cancer because hormones play a vital role.

Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy helps to boost the immune system of the body to fight against cancer cells. There are two tests for immunotherapy, i.e., checkpoint inhibitors and adoptive cell transfer.

Radiation Therapy

Radiation therapy applies a high dose of radiation to cancer cells which helps to shrink a tumor before removing it through surgery.

Stem cell Transplant

A stem cell transplant is beneficial for blood-related problems like leukemia and lymphoma. It helps remove damaged cells (red or white cells) and performs treatment on the cells.

Vital Medicine for Cancer (LENVAKAST)

Lenvakastis a drug that contains a substance called lenvatinib. This medication is used for the treatment of thyroid and liver cancer. Lenvakast’s function is to block the cancer cells by multiplying and slowing the rate of tumor growth. It is most effective for adults who have gone through radiation treatment where cancer does not stop its growth. Lenvakast has ingredients like calcium carbonate, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, and low-substituted Hydroxypropyl cellulose talc. There’s red iron oxide, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, and Hypromellose for its outer shell. Before taking Lenvakast, you must consult the doctor for better results. Avoid using these medicines if you have any allergies to the ingredients of the medicine. This medicine should be stored in a cool place, not above 25 degrees Celsius.

Cancer is one of the dangerous diseases, but it can be cured through various therapies, surgeries, medications, and technologies. You must consult the doctor and take their medication to stop the growth of cancer and its tumors. People should build their immune systems to fight against various cancers. Lenvakast is the best medication you can take to avoid cancer growth. Perfect treatments will help to save your life.
