Heat-resistant austenitic alloy with outstanding oxidation resistance under moderately cyclic circumstances up to 2000 oF. If no reducing sulfur fumes are present, stainless steel 310 Instrumentation Tube Fittings resist oxidation in continuous use at temperatures up to 1150° C. 310 Stainless Steel Instrumentation Tube Fittings are used at temperatures up to 1150 degrees Celsius in continuous use and up to 1035 degrees Celsius in intermittent service.
